Alison & Keith’s wedding took place at Englemere in Ascot. It’s not a part of the country that Erica and I had been to before, though having met Alison and Keith there for their pre-wedding shoot in Windsor Great Park, we knew it was a lovely area. The wedding day came and it was one of those days where it rained on and off for most of the day…not that this marred any aspect of the day for the lovely couple, their guests or indeed us as their photographers! It was a fun day full of the many lovely touches that Alison and Keith had obviously spent a lot of time and effort planning. Really liking the depth of field on this one below. (Note for photographers: 1/640 sec, f1.6, ISO 100, with a 50mm f1.2L)
For this last shot we grabbed Alison and Keith just for 2 minutes once they’d finished their last course so that we could get the last few remnants of light, and I’m glad we did! I love the light and the mood in this shot. (Note for photographers- 1/80 sec, f2.8, ISO 1000, with a 70-200mm f2.8L IS @ 170mm….using this lens more and more for this kind of shot!)
