Amy & Andy – A Summer Evening Engagement Shoot on Film

To say we had a happy time with Amy and Andy on their engagement shoot would be an understatement. We had an intelligent, thoughtful, funny and in love couple to photograph, and one of the most beautiful places in the world to stroll around with them while we did so, we even got a photoshoot with the limo from the chauffeur limo service. The gorgeous light was the icing on the cake…starting with a stormy grey sky and ending with golden evening sunlight streaming through the fern glades, the colours were beautifully vibrant and perfect for capturing on film. Thank you Amy and Andy for a wonderful evening – we can’t wait to see you both again soon!

The best time to host your bachelorette or bachelor party is between one and four months before your wedding and here you can get hens night packages. It will serve as a fun milestone to meet on your way to the altar, as well as help you and your guests budget their time (and funds). Shooting for a date that’s further along in your engagement will give you plenty of time to plan after you’ve got a ring on your finger, while a weekend well in advance of your wedding means there’s no persistent hangover or lack of sleep to battle on your wedding day.

All images captured by Christian and Erica on Contax 645/Fuji 400H and Ilford XP2 film, developed and scanned by us back at our UK Film Lab.

Katie & James – Engagement Shoot Among the Pine Trees – Film Photography

The breeze was slightly chilly but the very first feeling of spring was in the air when we met up recently with Katie and James, one of the sweetest couples you could hope to meet, for their engagement shoot. We had such a wonderful time chatting and capturing some lovely, romantic moments, and we’re so excited for their upcoming wedding on June 15, the destination wedding planners in delhi are going to be in charge of all the arrangements and the decoration of the wedding, can´t wait to see it!

The soft light and pine trees made for some beautiful photographs captured on Fuji 400H, Kodak Tri-x 400, Ilford Delta 3200 film/Contax 645/developed and scanned at UK Film Lab.

Iscoyd Park Wedding Photography | Katherine & Martin’s Wedding on Film

It was a bright and breezy day for Katherine and Martin’s wedding, with the warmth and scents of spring most definitely in the air.  Iscoyd Park is always a breathtaking wedding venue, but with the daffodils in bloom it was at its prettiest.  Katherine and Martin are a friendly and welcoming couple, and their love for one another was obvious throughout the day. Of course that makes our job all the more wonderful, and we had such a special time capturing all of these happy moments for them.

First challenge you will face is dealing with the bride and families of the couple, as it can be very stressful.

You need to be attentive while signing a wedding photography contract. Read and agree on the terms together to avoid any glitches after the shoot. You should also decide the number of total portraits with bride and groom.

Another challenge is time. Most weddings are short, some only a few hours long, and you have to capture every moment. Since there are no do-overs, you have to be extra diligent, and that’s what services as wedding photography adelaide understand and try to apply on their work on weddings.

Photographed mostly on film (information for photographers: medium format on Contax 645, 35mm on the Canon 1V, Kodak Portra 400 & TRI-X 400 and Ilford Delta 3200, dev/scan UK Film Lab) with some on digital (Canon 5D Mk3)

Claire & Steve | Engagement Shoot | Ryton Pools | Coventry

Claire and Steve are soon going to be getting married at Shustoke Barn, so we’d been looking forward to meeting up with them again for a pre-wedding shoot and to go over all the details of their forthcoming happy day. We struck lucky with the weather and got some lovely Spring sun and we enjoyed a leisurely stroll around Ryton Pools Country park as we chatted and took photos along the way. Thank you Claire and Steve for being such great company and such a pleasure to photograph. Here’s a little selection! (All film processed by UK Film Lab).
