Catrina & Stuart | Sheffield Botanical Gardens Engagement Photography

Catrina and Stuart are a happy, fun couple to be around, and we had a great time getting to know them both better during their pre-wedding shoot.  It was our second visit in as many weeks to Sheffield’s Botanical Gardens, but with a venue as beautiful as this, we were more than happy to return!  The lovely couple get married next month, with a reception at picturesque Crow Hill, and we can’t wait for the big day.  Thanks for being such fun to photograph Catrina and Stuart – we hope you enjoy your photographs!

Sam & Buzz | Bath Wedding Photography | Wick Farm | Sneak Preview!

Last year Sam and Buzz emigrated to sunny Sydney, Australia, and returned back to Bath shortly before their wedding at beautiful Wick Farm. I think the cloudy start was quite a contrast even to the Australian winter they’d left, but in perfect timing the sun came out just after the ceremony!  Their wedding was a relaxed, joyful affair, perfectly suited to this warm, laid-back couple, and we loved photographing it.  Here’s a sneak preview of some of our favourites from throughout the day…

My Pretty Little Gypsy Wedding | You & Your Wedding Magazine | Wedding Fashion Photography

undefinedWe’re in You & Your Wedding magazine for the second issue running, but this time not in the usual form of our work displaying a real wedding, but in the form of a fashion feature! We’re going to do a full post  displaying lots of photos once this issue is no longer on the shelves, but for now we just wanted to let you all know about this latest feature. Back in February of this year, we came up with the creative concept  for a styled shoot, based not on the outlandish style of the gypsy weddings you may have caught sight of on My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, but on an altogether prettier, vintage and folky style of a more traditional  gypsy wedding. It took us around a month or so to plan in fine detail, sourcing great suppliers who fitted well with the concept, and not to mention the genuine old Romany caravan that we arranged use of for the  shoot we eventually carried out on gypsy land just outside Blackpool on a beautiful day in March. Once again, a big thank you to the many amazing suppliers we collaborated with- we couldn’t have done it without you and we can’t recommend you highly enough to brides and grooms! We can’t wait to share the many images from the shoot, but for now, head out to get the latest You & Your Wedding magazine! Here are the credits for the suppliers we worked with, and a preview of the magazine layouts:

Fran & Tim | Sheffield Botanical Gardens Engagement Photography

It was lovely to meet up with Fran and Tim again. They originally booked us quite some time ago, though their wedding date has proven to be THE most popular date for enquiries in 2011. I’m talking at least 20 enquiries for their date since they booked us! But anyway, we met up with this affectionate couple in Sheffield Botanical Gardens and took some pictures as we strolled and chatted, and they made it pretty easy to capture our usual relaxed, natural-looking portraits. Fran and Tim are getting married at the impressive Stoke Park Pavilions in Northamptonshire in August…it looks like an amazing setting for a wedding and we can’t wait to be there to capture their day as it unfolds!
