Over the next few days we’ll be catching up on some blog entries from the last few weeks, and hopefully with our fabulous new blog in place we’ll be able to keep things much more up-to-date. You may have seen some of these photographs as a sneak preview in our old blog, but here is a larger selection for you to enjoy. If you are a friend or family member of Matt and Rachael and would like to see more of their photos, with the option to buy prints, DVDs or other great products, please click on the contact link at the top of the page and send us a message.
In the morning I visited Rachael’s home to capture the bridal preparations, while Chris spent some time with Matt, the groom. Rachael was ably assisted by her mum Carol and her daughter (and beautiful bridesmaid) Bethany, and her make-up by Sian looked lovely…
The bride’s pretty bouquet was a simple and charming arrangement of cream and dusky pink roses, accented with pale chocolate ribbon, all of which matched perfectly to the elegant morning suits of the groom and groomsmen.
Bethany looked angelic in her beautiful bridesmaid’s dress – here she is arriving at the church and Chris captured this lovely portrait just before she got out of the wedding car…
Switching to the groom’s morning, meet Rachael and Matt’s son Thomas, who was a perfect pageboy in his mini matching suit. Here he is sitting outside the Bridge Inn with one of the groomsmen, enjoying a drink before the serious work began!
Matt was extremely smart and the perfect model, and Chris enjoyed a stroll with him around the church grounds to capture some informal portraits like this one…
The ceremony took place at a beautiful little church in the village of Curbar
And after the main event, it was time to relax as we went walking with Matt and Rachael to take their first photographs as man and wife…
Our favourite sight after any wedding – a blissfully happy bride!
