A London Engagement Shoot | Vicky & Chris

We had such a fun time with the lovely Vicky and Chris on their engagement shoot.  It was very exciting when Vicky emailed us ahead of the shoot with lots of great ideas about shoot locations – and the reality didn’t disappoint.  First stop was a rowing boat jaunt on the Serpentine (excellent rowing Vicky and Chris…well, what can we do when we’ve got cameras to hold?!) and as an added bonus the weather held out and we didn’t have to row hastily for cover.  After this Vicky and Chris took us round some of their other favourite London locations, including the very cool Holland Park (first-time trip for us but hopefully not the last as we loved it!) and some extremely pretty spots around Notting Hill.  Finally they treated us to a lovely dinner, which was a great opportunity to get to know each other better ahead of the big day at Chatsworth.  Thanks so much for such a fun-filled day Vicky and Chris – we love your enthusiasm and you make such a lovely couple.  Can’t wait to see you again in August!

Heather - Love this shoot! Great colours and the couple look so sweet :-)

Alex & Peter | London engagement photography | Clissold Park

With Alex and Peter it was a case of third time lucky for their engagement shoot. Weather had put pay to our shoot twice, and although the days immediately preceding their shoot that did go ahead were those really hot days a week or so ago, the day came round and it was pretty overcast! That said, it was probably quite lucky in a way, because it meant the shoot location – Clissold Park in London- wasn’t too busy. It was also one of those ‘overcast but really cool light’ days, so we couldn’t complain. We started off at Alex and Peter’s house where we were treated to some muffins of giant proportions…mine being honey and bran, which was rather tasty. After catching up, drinking tea and eating muffins (how did they know this is one of my favourite ways to spend time?!), we all headed over to the park for the shoot. Thanks for a really fun afternoon you two, and we’ll see you up here soon!

I particularly love this shot below…

See if you can spot the wandering dog in one of the shots below…I was going to clone it out but then I realised I kind of like it!
