On a perfect late spring day towards the end of last month Christian and I set off on a trip to London to meet up with a very cute couple – Francesca and Andy, whose wedding we are looking forward to shooting at the same time next year! Francesca had chosen two beautiful settings for the shoot – starting with Kenwood House gardens (where thanks to our terrible start to the spring and summer weather, the azaleas were still in beautifully vibrant bloom) and Temple. Everything about the day was a complete treat! From getting to know this charming and very photogenic couple, to spending time in these picturesque locations, and finally to being able to shoot the whole affair entirely on medium format film to bring out all the amazing colours – nothing could have been better! For the film buffs among you these were all shot on Fuji 400H film with our much loved Contax 645 cameras…developed and scanned by us aka UK Film Lab. Thanks Francesca and Andy for a wonderful day, and we hope you enjoy looking at the photographs as much as we enjoyed taking them!
