Last weekend Erica and I took a trip up to North Ferriby to meet with Charlotte & Nick who are getting married in the beautiful church there this coming May. We’d only ‘met’ them before via a Skype video call so this was the first time we met them face to face. North Ferriby is a beautiful little village, and then we drove to Swanland where Charlotte & Nick are holding their reception in the gorgeous gardens of Nick’s grandparents’ home. We’re really looking forward to photographing their most special of days in this lovely setting. Here are just a few relaxed shots of the happy couple…

It’s been lovely weather this weekend, and inbetween working hard on our new showroom and studio we met up with Kerry & Neil whose wedding we’re shooting in just a few weeks at the church in Litton and then afterwards at the beautiful Cressbrook Hall.  It had been over a year since we first met Kerry & Neil- how time flies!  Litton is a lovely little village and looked really pretty especially at this time of year with daffodils in full bloom. A few weeks ago on our blog and kindly promoted by the fabulous Rock My Wedding we ran a special Valentine’s offer of free engagement shoots to those lucky enough to contact us first. Georgia and Rob were one of those lucky couples and this weekend they drove up from their home in Plymouth to have their engagement shoot with us. We knew just from exchanging numerous excited emails with Georgia that it promised to be a great shoot, complete with a variety of outfit changes. We love it when couples bring different outfits to shoots, and for this one we bargained on it raining and had arranged a special indoor location for the first half of the session. As predicted, it did rain, but as planned we had fun with an indoor shoot in a cool location, and then ventured out into the rain with umbrellas for some photos outdoors. Thanks to Georgia and Rob for being such good fun and so natural in front of our cameras; here’s a preview of the indoor part of our shoot. Lots more to follow!

Just this morning we met up with Catherine and Joe whose wedding we’re looking forward to shooting next month. The weather gods were looking down upon us and we got some lovely light and a bit of a breeze- great for bringing a sense of movement into the photos. Erica and I had great fun taking Catherine and Joe through their pre-wedding shoot and I think they’re both complete naturals in front of the lens. We can’t wait to shoot their wedding, but meanwhile here’s the smallest of sneak previews from today. More to follow later!
