Following sneak previews and snippets of San Sebastian, we’re delighted to present a larger selection of photographs from Katy and David’s destination wedding in this beautiful northern Spanish town. I’m starting off with the groom’s preparations to show what great images can be captured from this part of the day. Of course in traditional thinking a wedding is all about the bride, but we like to give the groom a proper showing too – especially such a smartly presented one as David! Chris had a stroll around the grounds with David and his best man Daniel before the ceremony to get these relaxed shots, and the final image is from the beautiful outdoor ceremony.
Next up are Katy’s four lovely bridesmaids – we especially love their non-identical but perfectly matching dresses, complimented so beautifully by the gorgeous peach colour of the bouquets. A special mention has to go to Katy’s friend Caroline (she’s the bridesmaid at the bottom right in the image below), who works at Identity Hair & Beauty in Chesterfield, and who did an absolutely fantastic job in the morning – styling all the bridesmaids’ hair (including her own!), as well as the bride’s mother’s. As you can see all the results were great!
The all important details…
After the guests had enjoyed their Spanish feast of a wedding breakfast (which Katy & David kindly invited us to join – and it really was delicious!) Chris and I went walking with the bride and group to take their couple photographs. It’s always our favourite part of the day, as we love how it gives the bride and groom some (usually much needed!) quiet time before they go back to enjoy the celebrations with their guests. The gloriously warm Spanish sun made this a particular treat!
